When we talk about ethics, we are also talking about people
Yesterday, we had the honour of receiving the Special Recognition for Emotional Wellbeing at the XII MAZ Healthy Company Awards.
We are very grateful for this recognition. But beyond the award itself, what makes us especially happy is feeling that a way of understanding how a company should be is being recognised; something we have been trying to build for years.
At Aircury, we often talk about ethical software. It is part of who we are and how we work. However, ethics cannot be limited only to the product we build or the relationship we have with our customers.
It must also be reflected in how we treat the people who are part of our team.
For us, a company is not a structure, an organisation chart, or a set of processes. A company is a group of people who share goals, challenges, responsibilities, and also difficult moments.
That is why we believe emotional wellbeing is not an extra benefit or a passing trend. It is an essential part of any healthy workplace.
Listening, supporting, providing help when needed, building trust, and creating spaces where people can speak freely are actions that take time, commitment, and consistency. They are not always visible from the outside, but they have a deep impact on everyday life inside any organisation.
For this reason, this recognition is especially meaningful to us.
Because it confirms something we have believed in for a long time: taking care of people is not in conflict with professional excellence. On the contrary, the strongest organisations are often those that understand that business growth and people’s wellbeing go hand in hand.
We would like to thank MAZ for promoting initiatives that highlight these good practices and help raise awareness of the importance of emotional health within organisations.
We also want to congratulate all the other companies recognised in this edition. Sharing this recognition with organisations committed to health, prevention, and wellbeing is both an honour and a motivation to keep improving.
This award makes us happy, yes.
But above all, it reminds us that we are on the path we want to follow: building technology that serves people, and building a company where people truly matter.
